Privacy Policy

Who I am

Wildcat Websites is a one-person web design business based in Kentucky. When this page says "I" or "me," it means that business. When it says "you," it means anyone who visits this site or sends a quote request through it.

What information I collect

Information you give me directly

The only place this website collects information is the quote request form on the contact page. When you submit it, I receive:

  • Your name
  • Your business name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number, if you choose to enter one
  • Your industry, selected from a list
  • The address of your current website, if you have one
  • Which plan you're interested in and your timeline
  • Anything you write in the "what do you want the site to do" box
  • Which page of this site you were on when you clicked through to the form

Every field except name, business name, email, and industry is optional. If you'd rather not fill out a form at all, call or text me instead — nothing gets recorded on this website that way.

Information collected automatically

This site does not run analytics software, advertising pixels, or session recording. I do not know who visits, how many people visit, or what pages they look at.

Cloudflare, which hosts this site, does keep standard server logs — these typically include IP addresses and browser types for security and troubleshooting purposes. That's a normal part of how any website works, and I don't use those logs to identify individual visitors.

How I use your information

I use what you send me for exactly one thing: replying to you.

That means:

  • Preparing and sending you a price quote
  • Answering questions you asked
  • Following up once if I haven't heard back
  • Building and supporting your website, if you decide to hire me

I will never sell your information, rent it, trade it, or add you to a marketing list you didn't ask for. If you say no thanks, I'll send at most one follow-up and then leave you alone.

Who else sees your information

I don't share your information with anyone except the services required to actually operate this website and deliver your quote:

  • Web3Forms — processes the quote form and delivers it to my email. Your submission passes through their servers. Their privacy policy is at web3forms.com/privacy.
  • Cloudflare — hosts and serves every page of this site, and keeps the standard server logs described above. Their privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
  • Google (Gmail) — your quote request lands in my Gmail inbox and is stored there like any other email. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

The only other circumstance where I would disclose your information is if I were legally required to, such as by a valid court order.

Artificial intelligence

I do not run your information through any AI system. To be specific about it:

  • There is no chatbot on this site. Every reply you get from Wildcat Websites was typed by a person, and that person is me.
  • Your quote request is not used to train anything, and it is not scored, ranked, or profiled by software. I read every one myself and I write every quote myself.
  • Nothing about you is decided automatically. No system decides whether you get a reply, what you get quoted, or whether you are worth answering.

One honest caveat, because a blanket claim here would be false: your request lands in a Gmail inbox, and Google applies its own automated processing to messages — spam filtering and similar — the way it does to all email. That is Google’s processing under their policy, linked above, not something I direct or receive results from.

If any of this changes, this section changes first, and it will say plainly what the system is and what it can see. I am not going to quietly start running your information through something while this page still says I don’t.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies. It loads no third-party scripts, no fonts from outside servers, no advertising trackers, and no social media widgets. Nothing about you is stored in your browser by this site.

That's not a legal posture — it's a byproduct of how the site is built. It's hand-coded with no external dependencies, which is also why it loads in under a second.

How long I keep it

If you request a quote and don't hire me, I keep your message in my email so I remember the conversation happened. If you'd like it deleted sooner, just ask and I'll delete it.

If you do hire me, I keep your business information for as long as I'm working on or maintaining your website, plus a reasonable period afterward for tax and record-keeping purposes.

Your rights

You can email me at any time and ask me to:

  • Tell you what information I have about you
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Delete it entirely

There's no form and no process. Send an email and I'll handle it, usually within a couple of business days. I won't ask you why.

Kentucky residents (KCDPA)

The Kentucky Consumer Data Protection Act took effect on January 1, 2026. If you live in Kentucky, it gives you the right to confirm whether I am processing your personal data, to access it, to correct it, to have it deleted, to get a portable copy of it, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of your data.

Most of that list does not come up here, and it is worth saying why rather than leaving you to guess:

  • I do not sell personal data. Not to anyone, ever, for any price.
  • I do not run targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
  • I do not profile anyone or make automated decisions about you.
  • The only personal data I hold is what you typed into the quote form and whatever we said to each other by email, text, or phone afterwards.

To exercise any of these rights, email wildcatwebsites@gmail.com or call or text (270) 559-4048. There is no form to fill in and no identity-verification hoop; if I cannot tell it is you, I will simply ask. I will respond within 45 days, which is what the Act allows, but in practice it will be a day or two.

If I ever refuse a request, the Act gives you the right to appeal it. Reply to my email and say you are appealing, and I will reconsider in writing and tell you how to complain to the Kentucky Attorney General if you are still unhappy.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

I am a one-person business in Kentucky and almost certainly fall well below the revenue and data-volume thresholds that make the California Consumer Privacy Act legally binding on me. I am telling you what I do anyway, because “we are too small to have to say” is not a reassuring answer.

  • Categories collected: identifiers (your name, email, phone) and commercial information (what you told me about your business and what you want built). That is the entire list.
  • Sold or shared for advertising: none. I have never done it and I am not set up to.
  • Sensitive personal information: none collected.
  • Source: you, directly. I do not buy lists or scrape contacts.
  • Purpose: to answer you and, if you hire me, to do the work.

You have the right to know, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing. The opt-out is moot because there is no sale or sharing to opt out of. For the rest, email me and it is done. I will not treat you differently for asking.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, so anything you submit is encrypted in transit. I take reasonable care with the information you send me, but no method of transmitting or storing data online is perfectly secure, and I can't guarantee absolute security.

Please don't send passwords, payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information through the quote form. It isn't built for that, and I don't need any of it.

Children

This site is meant for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent me information, email me and I'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If I change how this site handles information — for example, if I add website analytics — I'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be noted clearly rather than slipped in quietly.
